Massage Therapy

Since 1980 massage therapy has been an integral part of my work with clients.

The Living Web
The body is a network of muscle and connective tissue that acts as a living web. Pulling on the corner of a piece of woven cloth will cause all the fiber relationships to shift.
Injury, repetitive strain or chronic posture can create a shift in tissues that causes pain by stretching some areas and shortening others, ultimately putting stress on joints.

There are a variety of approaches to soft tissue treatment that involve working with the fascial network to correct the cause of pain and dysfunction. This is the basis for the structural therapy I use with clients.

The Rossiter® System Workouts are beneficial to athletes, helping them maintain optimal performance and correct chronic imbalances that may be caused by the one sided or repetitive nature of their sport. The assisted stretching of Thai Massage works to increase freedom of movement and joint range of motion.

Virtually everyone can receive therapeutic body work and experience its many benefits. It helps relieve chronic tension, increases ease of movement, improves posture and enhances self-awareness. It can be helpful in preventing as well as rehabilitating many types of injuries.
